The vibration of the Top Link End is very sensitive to the damage of the Link End, such as spalling, indentation, corrosion, crack, wear, etc., which will be reflected in the vibration measurement of the Top Link End. Therefore, the vibration can be measured by using a special Top Link End vibration meter (frequency analyzer, etc.), and the specific abnormal conditions can not be inferred from the frequency analysis. The measured values are different due to the service conditions of the Top Link End of the installation position of the sensor. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and compare the measured values of each machine before determining the judgment standard.

The temperature of the Top Link End can generally be inferred from the temperature outside the Top Link End chamber. It is more appropriate if the outer ring temperature of the Top Link End can be directly measured by using the oil hole. Generally, the temperature of the Top Link End starts to rise slowly with the operation of the Top Link End and reaches a stable state after 1-2 hours. The normal temperature of the Top Link End varies with the thermal capacity, heat dissipation, rotating speed, and load of the machine. If the lubrication and installation parts are appropriate, the joint bearing temperature at the rod end will rise sharply, resulting in abnormally high temperatures. At this time, the operation must be stopped and necessary preventive measures must be taken. The thermal sensor can monitor the working temperature of the Top Link End at any time, and automatically alarm or stop when the temperature exceeds the specified value to prevent shaft burning
